Privacy Policy

This policy explains what TaskWala (taskwala.pk) collects when you use it, why, and who else sees it. In short: we keep what we need to run your account, your history and your payments, we send your prompts to AI providers because that is how the models work, and we do not sell your data or run advertising.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address, your name if you gave one, and a hashed copy of your password. We never store your password itself.
• Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else.
• Your generations. The prompts you write, the images or recordings you attach, and the images, videos, audio and text that come back, saved against your account so you can see your history.
• Payments. The amount and status of each top-up, the payment reference you give for a manual payment, and any screenshot you attach. We never see your card number.
• Balance history. A record of every credit and charge on your account, so the money can be checked.
• Technical details. Your IP address and browser details when you sign in or make a request, and a log of important events. We use them for security, to stop abuse and to find faults.

Cookies and local storage

• Sign-in cookie (tw_session) keeps you signed in.
• Security cookie (tw_csrf) protects your requests from being forged.
• Visitor cookie (tw_guest) is a random identifier given to every visitor so the site can tell one browser from another during a visit.
• Google cookie (tw_google) is short-lived and exists only while you sign in with Google.
• Local storage in your browser remembers small preferences, such as the model you used last.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics, and nothing is shared with ad networks.

What we send to AI providers

• Your prompt, and any image or recording you attach, is sent to OpenRouter, which passes it to the company that runs the model you picked. That is the only way a model can answer you.
• Those providers handle the content under their own privacy policies. Once content has been sent we do not control how it is stored or used there, and we cannot delete it from their systems.
• Do not send anything you would not want a third party to receive, including confidential material and pictures or recordings of people who have not agreed.

The public gallery

The Gallery page on TaskWala shows a random selection of finished images and videos made by our users. Only the picture or video is shown. The prompt, your name and your email address are not. If you want something removed, or do not want your results shown, write to contac@taskwala.pk.

Who else sees your data

• OpenRouter and the model makers behind it, for anything you send to a model.
• Stripe and Paddle, for card payments. They take your card details directly on their own pages.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the files and database and runs the site.
• Our email provider, when we send you a message such as an email confirmation or a receipt.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users from fraud or abuse.

How long we keep things

• Account details and generation history: until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.
• Payment records and balance history: as long as we need them for accounts, tax and dispute handling.
• Request and error logs: kept for a limited time for security, then removed.
• A screenshot attached to a manual top-up: until the top-up is settled, and removable afterwards on request.

Keeping your data safe

Passwords are hashed, sign-in sessions are random tokens in a protected cookie, and admin actions are checked on the server. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and its history, and you can ask us to remove a result from the Gallery. Write to contac@taskwala.pk from the address on your account. We cannot delete content that has already been sent to a model provider, for the reason given above.

Children

TaskWala is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us their details, write to us and we will remove them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Please check it from time to time.
