Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who visits taskwala.pk or uses TaskWala ("TaskWala", "we", "us"). By creating an account, signing in, buying credits or generating anything, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What TaskWala is

TaskWala is a web studio for making AI video, images, speech and transcripts. You write a prompt (and sometimes attach an image or a recording), we send it to a third-party AI model, and the result is saved to your history. We do not build the models. We choose which ones to offer and set the price you pay.

Your account

  • You sign in with an email and password, or with Google. You must give a real email address that you can read.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private and do not share the account.
  • You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you.
  • We may ask you to confirm your email address before you can generate.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to commit fraud, or puts the service at risk. A suspended account is signed out straight away.

Credits and payments

  • TaskWala runs on prepaid credits. You buy credits, and each generation takes its price from your balance.
  • The price of a generation is shown before you run it. The amount taken is the price of the model plus our service margin, and it is what you see on your result card and in your balance history.
  • Credits are counted in US dollars unless the site says otherwise.
  • Credits do not expire. A balance belongs to one person and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, paid out or exchanged.
  • Nothing renews. There is no subscription and you are never charged again unless you choose to buy more credits.
  • You can pay by card (through Stripe or Paddle) or by a manual payment, such as a bank or mobile-wallet transfer, which we check and approve by hand. A manual top-up is added to your balance once we have confirmed the payment, not before.
  • Paddle acts as the seller of record for payments made through it. Paddle takes the payment, and any tax, under its own terms.
  • We may change a model's price at any time. The price shown when you run something is the price charged for it.

Refunds

  • A payment for credits is not refundable once the credits have been added to your balance, whether or not you have spent them. The full policy is on the Credits and Refunds page.
  • If a generation fails and produces nothing, you are not charged. If you were charged and the result never arrived, the amount goes back to your balance as credit.
  • A video that a provider accepted but never finished is returned to your balance automatically.
  • A slow provider or a long queue is not a failure and is not refunded.
  • The law where you live may give you rights that we cannot take away, and those rights still apply.

Your content and results

  • You keep the rights you have in the prompts and files you send. You promise that you are allowed to send them.
  • As between you and us, you may use the results you generate, including for commercial work, as far as the model provider's own terms allow. Some models and some kinds of output carry their own conditions, and AI output may resemble other people's work. Checking that a result is safe to publish is your job.
  • Results are saved to your history until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.

The public gallery

TaskWala has a public Gallery page that shows a random selection of images and videos made on the site. By generating on TaskWala you allow us to show your finished images and videos there. We show the picture or video only. We do not show your prompt, your name or your email address.

If you do not want a particular result shown, or want to stop your results appearing at all, write to contac@taskwala.pk and we will remove it.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use TaskWala to break the law, to harass or threaten anyone, or to make content that is illegal where you or we are.
  • Do not create sexual content involving minors, or content that is meant to deceive people about real events or real people, such as impersonation, fake evidence or non-consensual intimate images.
  • Do not upload images or recordings of other people without their permission.
  • Do not resell access, share your account, scrape the service, or try to get around prices, limits or the billing system.
  • Do not try to extract our provider keys or send traffic at a volume we have not agreed to.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, without a refund of credits already spent.

Third-party providers

  • Results come from third-party AI providers, mainly OpenRouter, which passes your request to the company that runs the model. Their terms and acceptable-use policies also apply to what you send and receive.
  • We set the price you pay. The provider sets the model, its limits, and what it will or will not produce.
  • A model can be changed, renamed or withdrawn without notice. Credits you have already spent are not affected, and unspent credits stay on your balance.
  • Our batch tool queues many prompts from a CSV file and runs them in the background. Each row is an ordinary generation and is charged like one.

Availability

We try to keep TaskWala running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or that any model will give a particular result. We may change or stop parts of the service.

Liability

  • The service is provided as it is.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by a model provider or a payment provider.
  • To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. If you keep using TaskWala after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan can hear any dispute about them, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
